The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have issued an Amber Alert for six-year-old Lanakai Morrison, who was abducted from Valhalla Centre, Alberta, on July 7, 2026. Lanakai is described as having a slight build, long light brown hair, and brown eyes. He is believed to be with his mother, 35-year-old Krista Morrison, and her 35-year-old partner, Daniel Ludwig. Another child, four-year-old Karl Morrison, may also be with them. The group is believed to be traveling in a 2006 red Ford F350 pickup truck with Alberta license plate CXW8820. The Amber Alert has been expanded to northern British Columbia and into the Northwest Territories or the Yukon. RCMP advise the public not to approach the suspects or vehicle and to call 911 with any information.
