An out-of-control wildfire near Boston Bar, British Columbia, has led to an evacuation order and an extended alert for surrounding areas. The Brunswick Creek fire, discovered on July 2, has grown to 100 hectares and is believed to have been sparked by human activity. The fire is currently burning on the west side of the Fraser River, and the BC Wildfire Service anticipates further growth. Residents in North Bend, Electoral Area A, have been ordered to evacuate immediately, with instructions to gather family members, pets, and essential items such as government identification. An evacuation alert has also been extended north and south of Area A, as recommended by the BC Wildfire Service.
