Marina Mabrey, the standout guard for the Toronto Tempo, has been named a reserve for the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, marking both her first All-Star selection and the first for the Tempo franchise.

In her inaugural season with the Tempo, Mabrey has delivered exceptional performances, averaging 21.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. She leads the league with 3.6 three-pointers per game and is tied for first in the WNBA with 64 three-point field goals made.

A highlight of Mabrey's season was her record-tying 53-point game against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 25, where she also matched the league record with nine made three-pointers. This performance contributed to a three-game stretch from June 19 to 25, during which she scored a total of 113 points, setting a WNBA record for the most points over a three-game span.

General Manager Monica Wright Rogers praised Mabrey's impact on the franchise, stating, "Marina has been instrumental in setting the standard for our franchise from day one. Her competitiveness, leadership, and impact on our organization and fanbase make this recognition incredibly well-deserved."

Head Coach Sandy Brondello also commended Mabrey's contributions, saying, "Marina's work ethic and commitment to winning show up every single day. She's embraced every challenge, elevated her game, and made everyone around her better. We're thrilled to see her recognized as a WNBA All-Star."

Reflecting on her selection, Mabrey expressed gratitude, stating, "It feels really good to be named a WNBA All-Star. After years of hard work and perseverance, it's incredibly validating to be recognized among the best players in the league. I'm grateful to my teammates, coaches, and everyone who has supported me throughout my career."

The 2026 WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m. ET at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada.

This milestone not only highlights Mabrey's individual achievements but also signifies a promising future for the Toronto Tempo in their inaugural season.
