The network is a transnational group that operates primarily online, targeting vulnerable minors and young people for exploitation and radicalization. Officials allege the teenager was responsible for a series of threats directed at schools, public institutions, and private individuals between January and April 2026.
During this period, the suspect allegedly sent numerous messages warning of planned shootings, armed attacks, and other violent acts. While none of these threats were carried out, they caused significant public alarm and forced security forces to implement extraordinary protective measures. In his communications, the suspect frequently cited his affiliation with Red 764 and, in some instances, claimed he would livestream violent acts on online platforms to be viewed by other members of the group.

It has been linked to severe criminal activities, including sextortion, organized harassment, the distribution of child sexual abuse material, and the promotion of self-harm.
