A 48-year-old man was arrested in West Valley City, Utah, on Monday after allegedly stabbing an Indian-origin employee 15 times inside a shopping mall. The victim, identified as Sohail, was working at a jewelry kiosk in the Valley Fair Mall when the suspect, Peter Michael Larsen, approached him. According to witness accounts and police affidavits, Larsen initiated a conversation by asking the victim where he was from and whether he was Muslim. Upon receiving confirmation of the victim's faith, Larsen reportedly attacked him with a knife while the man was distracted.
