The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to commence the NEET UG 2026 counselling process shortly, introducing several new regulations to streamline admissions into medical courses across India.

As of July 27, 2026, the MCC has not yet released the official counselling schedule. However, it is anticipated that Round 1 registration and choice filling will begin in the first week of August 2026.

The counselling process will unfold in four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. Each round will have its own registration, choice filling, allotment, and reporting windows. Missing a window means missing that round.

Candidates must complete registration, fee payment, choice filling, and choice locking before each round deadline.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, candidates are advised to regularly check the official MCC website.
