In a significant move to enhance the safety and efficacy of medicines, India has unveiled the 10th edition of its official drug standards, the Indian Pharmacopoeia 2026 (IP-2026). Released by Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on January 2, 2026, this edition introduces 121 new monographs, bringing the total to 3,340.
