Pakatan Harapan (PH) has unveiled its election manifestos for the upcoming state polls, emphasizing development, economic growth, and social welfare to appeal to a broad electorate.
In Negri Sembilan, PH's manifesto, themed "Kekal Harapan" (Maintain Harapan), outlines ten key commitments, including the completion of five high-impact projects in collaboration with the Federal Government. These projects aim to enhance infrastructure and economic opportunities, such as improving rail services between Seremban and Kuala Lumpur and constructing a new hospital in Bandar Enstek, Nilai. Caretaker Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun highlighted the focus on balanced development to achieve developed status by 2045.
Similarly, in Johor, PH's "Johor Untuk Semua" (Johor for All) manifesto targets transforming the state into a regional economic hub. The plan includes building 80,000 affordable homes within five years and creating 250,000 high-paying jobs. The initiative also aims to boost the state's median wage by at least 30% and attract 20,000 Johoreans working abroad back home by 2031 through specialized employment and entrepreneurship incentives.
In Selangor, PH's "Kekal Harapan" manifesto emphasizes continuity and stability, focusing on economic growth, investment, job creation, and political stability. Political analysts suggest that this approach leverages PH's governing record to convince voters of its capability to continue leading the state effectively.
