State human resources and poverty eradication committee chairman V. Papparaidu confirmed that out of the total number of retrenched workers, 4,263 have already secured new employment. These programs are designed to connect displaced workers with available roles that align with their existing skills and experience.
To further support those still seeking employment, the state is utilizing the MYFutureJobs portal for profiling and targeted job-matching. Additionally, the government is offering various upskilling and reskilling programs to improve the employability of jobseekers in line with current industry requirements. Large-scale events, such as the JobCare Selangor Career Carnival, are also being held to facilitate direct engagement between employers and potential candidates through open interviews and career guidance services.
