A 14-year-old cyclist was rescued by a group of over 20 bystanders after becoming trapped under a car in Jurong East on July 11. The accident occurred at approximately 1:25 p.m. at the junction of Jurong Gateway Road and Jurong East Central. Emergency services were alerted to the scene, where the teenager was found pinned beneath the vehicle following a collision.
Witnesses and social media footage captured the moment members of the public, including workers and elderly passers-by, rushed to the scene. The group coordinated their efforts to lift the car, allowing others to reach underneath and pull the boy to safety.
