The North-South Corridor (NSC) is Singapore's first integrated transport corridor, stretching 21.5 kilometers from Admiralty Road West to East Coast Parkway. Construction began in 2018 and was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, with the full project now expected to complete in phases by 2029. Residents along the route report years of noise, dust, vibrations, and confusing road detours. The Land Transport Authority says noise levels should drop as the most intensive underground work has been completed. When finished, the NSC is designed to cut travel time from northern Singapore by up to 30 minutes.
