This marks Mr. Wong's third National Day message since he assumed the premiership in May 2024.
In line with Singapore's commitment to reaching citizens in their preferred languages, the government has arranged for other national leaders to deliver the message in the country's four official languages. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong will present the Mandarin version at 7:00 p.m. on Channel 8 and Capital 95.8FM. The Malay message will be delivered by Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State for Defence Zaqy Mohamad at 8:30 p.m. on Suria, while Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Manpower Dinesh Vasu Dash will deliver the Tamil version at 9:00 p.m. on Vasantham and Oli 96.8FM.
