The ecosystem built on the AT Protocol, often referred to as the Atmosphere, now includes thousands of third-party applications and hosts approximately 20 billion public records, including posts and interactions. As Bluesky moves into this new phase, the focus remains on building an open social web that functions as a protocol rather than a centralized platform.
