Lactalis Spain has announced a significant socio-economic contribution to the country, reporting an impact exceeding 1.2 billion euros for the 2025 fiscal year. This figure reflects the company's broad footprint in the Spanish economy, encompassing industrial investments, direct employment, tax contributions, and extensive procurement from the primary sector. The dairy giant, which operates eight industrial centers across Spain, saw its business turnover rise by 1.7% to reach 1.705 billion euros during the same period.

The company’s performance is closely tied to its collaboration with the Spanish agricultural sector. In 2025, Lactalis collected 963 million liters of milk from 1,405 farms across 13 autonomous communities. This procurement model serves as a cornerstone of its operations, supporting rural livelihoods and maintaining a stable supply chain for its well-known brands, such as Puleva, Président, and El Ventero.

Beyond its current operational success, Lactalis has committed to a new investment plan totaling 200 million euros for the 2026-2030 period. These funds are earmarked for modernizing industrial facilities, accelerating digital transformation, and advancing energy transition projects. A notable focus of these investments is rural development, with a significant portion historically directed toward municipalities with fewer than 25,000 inhabitants.

Company leadership emphasizes that this growth is intended to generate shared value for employees, suppliers, and the broader society. By focusing on long-term stability and local integration, the firm aims to navigate the challenges of a globalized market while maintaining its position as a leader in the Spanish dairy industry. As the company moves into its next investment cycle, the focus remains on balancing industrial competitiveness with environmental and social responsibility.
