The 110-year-old Jalandhar Cantonment Railway Station is undergoing a significant transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The redevelopment project, initiated in late 2022, has been completed at a cost of approximately ₹99 crore. The station now boasts modern amenities, including 10 lifts, 8 escalators, air-conditioned waiting halls, and large digital display screens for real-time train information.
