The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially declared the results for the 2026 Police Constable written examination. Candidates who participated in the recruitment drive, which aims to fill 32,679 vacancies across various police departments, can now access their qualifying status and merit list through the board's official website. The examination, held over three days in June 2026, saw participation from over 21 lakh aspirants, marking it as one of the largest recruitment exercises in the state.
Out of the total participants, 76,184 candidates have successfully qualified for the next phase of the selection process. The results include normalized scores and indicate whether a candidate has been shortlisted for the upcoming stages. To check their status, applicants must log in to the official portal using their registration number and date of birth. The board has also released category-wise cut-off marks alongside the individual results to provide transparency regarding the selection criteria.
For those who qualified, the recruitment process is set to continue with the Document Verification and Physical Standard Test, which are scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026. Following these assessments, successful candidates will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test, expected to take place in September 2026. Applicants are advised to download their scorecards and keep a hard copy for future reference as they prepare for the next rounds of physical and document evaluations.
