Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has begun issuing letters of demand to several political figures, alleging they distorted his recent comments regarding the term 'Tanah Melayu'. The legal action follows a speech Sanusi delivered during the Negeri Sembilan election campaign, where he discussed the historical identity of the Malay community. Sanusi contends that his remarks were misrepresented to suggest he was calling for non-Malay communities to leave the country, an interpretation he strongly denies.
