A 14-year-old cyclist was rescued from beneath a car in Jurong East on July 11 after a group of bystanders worked together to lift the vehicle. The accident occurred at the junction of Jurong Gateway Road and Jurong East Central at approximately 1:25 p.m. Emergency services were alerted to the scene, where the teenager was found trapped under a car that had stopped in the left-most lane. A video circulating on social media shows about a dozen people, including elderly passers-by and motorcyclists, rushing to the vehicle.
