The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has accepted the resignation of its General Secretary, Champat Rai, following an ongoing investigation into the alleged embezzlement of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. On June 26, Rai submitted his resignation, a day after police arrested eight individuals, including his driver, Ramashankar Yadav alias Tinnu, in connection with the alleged theft. Trustee Anil Mishra also resigned amid the controversy.
