A 24-year-old Singapore police officer has been charged in court with 13 offences, including voyeurism and molestation, involving nine male victims. The accused, whose identity is protected by a gag order to safeguard the victims, allegedly committed these acts between 2023 and 2025. The charges include 11 counts of voyeurism and two counts of molestation, with several incidents reportedly occurring at a neighbourhood police centre and other Home Team facilities.
According to court documents, the officer is accused of using his mobile phone to record victims in vulnerable situations, such as while they were showering, in toilet cubicles, or wearing only their underwear. The alleged offences took place across various locations, including a swimming complex and a gym, in addition to police-related premises. Two of the victims were also allegedly molested by the officer, with one incident involving the touching of a victim's chest at a Home Team facility.
The Singapore Police Force confirmed that it has taken action against the officer, emphasizing that its personnel are expected to uphold the law and maintain the highest standards of conduct. A spokesperson stated that the force deals sternly with any officers who break the law, noting that the matter is now before the courts. As legal proceedings are ongoing, the police have declined to provide further details.
If convicted of voyeurism, an offender in Singapore faces up to two years in jail, a fine, caning, or a combination of these penalties. Each charge of molestation carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison, along with potential fines and caning. The case is scheduled for further mention in court on August 6, 2026.
